The Bread Ovens at Quail Creek Farm was established by Wes Lanham, the owner and operator of W.B. Lanham & Company. The Bread Ovens provides fresh baked, artisan breads to clients and markets in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.

Prior to engaging in this massive project, Wes and his staff spent a little time in Paris, visiting all of the best bakeries. "Every morning there were incredible markets, with fresh dressed poultry of all kinds on ice, including game birds, produce that was off the charts and smaller bakeries, farm cheeses, flowers...the whole shooting match." A Pavailler Oven from France found its way to Quail Creek Farm after the visit.
